The forecast models have trended the low pressure track even further north since yesterday, meaning less snow for us as snow ratios become lower (12:1 or so) and we get hit by a big time dry slot. Still expecting 5-7" of snow over 6 hours or so tomorrow. Not expecting a snow day ATTM though.

Is there still a chance for it to track south?
Your predictions did seem a bit enthusiastic (i.e. predicting more snow for us than most sites and TV stations I checked).
John, do you believe this is the last big snow storm of the season? can you explain all that to me so i know when its suppose to warm up at least the slitest bit?

I still believe we get 3-4" of snow with the first band of snow (it's going to be really intense), and then 2-3" with the weaker bands afterwards. 5-7" total still seems good, IMO.

I'd say it's 50/50. The next storm after this one looks to be a rainstorm midweek, and we do look to be heading into a warmer pattern, with temperatures generally in the 30's and 40's. However, all it takes is a storm with a good track and enough cold air to give us a snowstorm, and that can still happen for the next two months. Remember, we had a week in 2005 where we went from 83 degrees on Tuesday to a foot of snow on Saturday. So, it's still entirely possible that we get another snowstorm later this year.
