Well, it now looks as though the next few storms will be rainmakers, including the one just before Valentine's Day that I previously said looked promising.
Maybe some freezing rain next week...that would be our only chance for a day off of school but you never want to rely on freezing rain for a day off of school.
BTW the reason the storm just before Valentine's Day now looks like a rainmaker is because it looks like the cold air now won't be coming in until after that storm.
I still think there's a snowstorm in February somewhere...the long term is looking pretty active.

I enjoy reading your blog. You definitely know what you’re talking about.
Uhgg I hope not... I can't wait for it to be warm outside again =D
When do you think that a permanente warm-up is going to come?
I don't know. We'll still be getting snow all the way through March at least (we always do), it's just that the chances of significant snowstorms will go down substantially after March 15th or so because there will be less and less cold air available as time goes on.
how many snow storms do you think we have left?
Flood warning until 1 am Thursday.
What's that all about?
I think we have at least one more snowstorm left, the pattern is turning colder, now we just need a good storm track.
I'm going to explain today's system and a possible snow event on Saturday in a blog post later this morning.
yuckk... so were suppose to get like a lot of snow!?
