Blame the low going north of what was forecasted and blame the dry air for causing what was supposed to be an awesome first band to dissipate, but the bottom line is that this storm will be yet another bust, with Lake Orion probably picking up 3-4" when all is said and done.
Someone will get 6-10" from this...unforunately, that someone is northern Michigan.
P.S. - I'm just about done with winter if all we're going to get is busts.

I'm pullin' for another storm in march.
with snow showers all day tomorrow, with winds in the 20 mph range, does that increase our chance due to the blowing and drifting of snow for a snowday schlenn?
We will not get a snow day...only 2.5" of snow fell, and less than an inch will fall tomorrow. It's just not our winter, that's the bottom line.
So, are we talking December for our next snow day?
:D
"So, are we talking December for our next snow day?"
I'd say it's 50/50 that we'll get another snow day this year. Remember, even if we don't get another snowstorm, March and April are always good months for ice storms.
With all of the rain out to our west, is there a possibility that it all could change to snow, and we could get another snow storm?

Crazy!
Now that most of winter is gone, when could we be seeing that first tornado warning, or even watch?
are we in the clear for no more snow?!
